 Changsha Huaneng Automatic Control Group was established in 1993 as a joint stock-holding company including Changsha Huaneng Zhongdian Control Equipment Co., Ltd, Changsha Huaneng Electronics and Technology Co., Ltd, Changsha Huaneng Tali Information Industry Joint-stock Co., Ltd, Changsha Huaneng Xingdian Switch Co., Ltd, Hunan Huaneng Hydropower Development Co., Ltd, Changsha Huaneng Automation Institute. It is the fixed production enterprise for key products of State Grid Corporation of China, the first recommended enterprise providing equipments for the projects of constructing and upgrading urban and rural power grids of State Economic and Trade Commission .
